Neki put vam editovanje Windows Mobile registry baze moze biti lakse ako koristite WM registry editor na desktop PC-u preko ActiveSync-a. Ovo je jedno besplatno resenje koje sam upravo koristio da povratim "Operator Settings" iz bekapa pre updatea I780 sa WM 6.0 na WM 6.1:

CeRegEditor is a registry editor for Windows Mobile including WM5 and WM6, Windows CE, and Pocket PC 2003 mobile devices. CeRegEditor is probably a good alternative to PHM Registry Editor, although unlike PHM Registry Editor, CeRegEditor is a desktop based registry editor which remotely connect to the mobile device to manage its registry.
That said, CeRegEditor runs on desktop PC to operates on a mobile device. Thus user can take advantage of the normal keyboard, mouse and big LCD computer monitor to manipulate, change, edit, create or delete the Windows Mobile Pocket PC registry, instead of been restricted to just stylus tap.

U pitanju je tastatura tj. nekoliko razlicitih. Pocev od obicne QWERTY, preko one kao sto je na SE P1 pa to numericke tastature. Podrzani su razliciti jezici pa samim tim i razlicita slova u zavisnosti od paketa koji se instalira. T9 je takodje podrzan.
Kasnije cu editovati i ubaciti neke slicice
